We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for the role of Capital Programme Director/Deputy Director of Estates at Newham University Hospital. This position is crucial for maintaining high service levels for both patients and staff while managing capital-funded projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Hospital Executive Board and the Group Deputy Director of EFM Capital Programme, ensuring that the Trust’s corporate objectives are met through the delivery of safe and secure facilities and equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the standard and delivery of the Newham University Hospital capital programme, ensuring a professional and efficient service.
• Contribute strategically to the Trust’s capital programme and provide project-level support as needed.
• Deputize for the Group Deputy Director EFM Capital Programme and collaborate with senior clinical managers and external agencies.

Requirements

• Experience in managing capital programmes for estates and facilities.
• Strong financial management and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record in project procurement and delivery.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Significant experience at a senior management level in a healthcare setting.
