OTC derivatives represent a significant growth area for our Enterprise Data division. Our offerings in pricing, valuation, and reference data across various derivatives support clients throughout the entire trade lifecycle, from pre-trade analysis to regulatory reporting. We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the expansion of our OTC derivatives data business.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for Bloombergâs OTC derivatives data products, ensuring high standards in coverage, quality, and usability.
- Define and execute the product roadmap for OTC derivatives data, focusing on initiatives that drive revenue and user adoption.
- Develop datasets that encompass reference data, research, regulatory, risk, and sustainability data to meet client demands.
- Engage with clients to comprehend their trading, valuation, risk management, collateral, and regulatory reporting workflows, converting these insights into actionable data requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to enhance product adoption and achieve commercial success.
- Manage product specifications, prioritization, and backlog through an agile process, working closely with Data, Engineering, and Client Solutions teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field within financial data, analytics, or investment technology.
- Strong understanding of OTC derivatives, particularly in at least two areas: rates, credit, FX, and equity derivatives, including trading and risk management practices.
- Knowledge of the derivatives trade lifecycle from both buy-side and sell-side perspectives.
- Familiarity with how enterprise clients evaluate and select datasets.
- Working knowledge of AI and automation, with the ability to apply these technologies to financial data products.
- Experience in delivering product outcomes through agile methodologies with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with derivatives pricing or valuation data from leading providers.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other data science tools.
- Familiarity with curve and volatility surface construction or derivatives valuation methodologies.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks such as UPI, CDM, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank.
- Experience with cloud-based data delivery or modern enterprise data platforms.
