Bloomberg is seeking a Product Manager to lead the AI capacity management for its enterprise AI offerings. This role is pivotal in shaping how Bloomberg measures, packages, and prices the storage and compute resources that support its AI workflows, particularly through the ASKB platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of the AI capacity model for Bloomberg’s enterprise AI solutions, focusing on storage and compute resources.
• Define and oversee the structure of capacity, including desktop allowances, enterprise tiers, and pooled capacity models.
• Determine purchasing, sharing, and management strategies for capacity among users.
• Establish and manage metering, monitoring, and forecasting systems for user and firm-level consumption.
• Provide inputs for pricing and packaging decisions, including cost per user and workflow categories, in collaboration with the Enterprise AI Team Lead and Finance.
• Translate capacity requirements into detailed Product Requirement Documents for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with central admin teams to ensure firm administrators can effectively manage their AI capacity usage.
• Define key performance indicators related to capacity utilization, overages, and subscription revenue.
• Engage directly with enterprise clients to gather insights on their AI capacity management needs and validate the capacity model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product management within enterprise software, SaaS, or AI platforms, with a track record of leading projects from concept to launch.
• Familiarity with usage-based or capacity-based product models, including metering and tiering.
• Hands-on experience with AI or LLM-based products, with knowledge of cost drivers such as tokens, compute, and storage.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of modeling cost and consumption metrics based on telemetry data.
• Understanding of enterprise software governance and administration.
• Experience in writing Product Requirement Documents and managing cross-functional product roadmaps.
• Ability to collaborate with commercial and finance teams on pricing and packaging strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence various stakeholders.
