We are seeking a skilled PLM Consultant / Architect to join a well-established consultancy in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. This role offers a unique opportunity for experienced PLM professionals who are looking for more than just a typical delivery position. The consultancy is recognized for its commitment to digital engineering and product lifecycle transformation, and it boasts a dedicated PLM team of over 20 specialists.
The successful candidate will be part of a team led by an experienced leader who has been with the company for over eight years, ensuring clear direction and strong technical mentorship. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to define the PLM strategy and requirements.
- Design and architect PLM solutions that align with business needs.
- Lead or contribute to the implementation and integration of PLM systems.
- Customize and configure PLM platforms, particularly PTC Windchill.
- Support pre-sales activities, including demonstrations and solution proposals.
- Collaborate with a highly experienced consultancy team throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in PLM consulting or architecture.
- Strong expertise with PTC Windchill or similar PLM platforms.
- Experience in solution design, configuration, and deployment.
- Ability to engage with customers on both technical and commercial levels.
- A self-driven, consultative approach to problem-solving.
