As a Performance Industry Manager within Google’s Large Customer Sales (LCS) Agency team, you will play a pivotal role as a strategic partner to key advertising agencies. Your primary focus will be on driving significant growth through Google’s performance advertising solutions, particularly in Search, Performance Max, and AI-powered automation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a deep understanding of the agency’s business to uncover hidden growth opportunities, acting as a trusted technical and strategic advisor on Google Search, Demand Led Growth, Performance Max, AI Max, and more.
- Establishing and nurturing authoritative relationships with C-level agency executives and Heads of Performance/Search, ensuring that Google’s product roadmap aligns with their business objectives.
- Advocating for the adoption of Google’s advanced AI products, first-party data strategies, and modern measurement frameworks to maintain market leadership and drive strong performance for advertisers and agencies.
- Leading internal cross-functional teams, such as gTech, to create joint technical plans, streamline operations, and align resources to achieve ambitious growth goals.
- Consistently challenging the status quo by testing new advertising formats, diagnosing portfolio bottlenecks, and sharing innovative strategies and best practices across the broader Google team.
To qualify for this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital advertising, performance marketing, consultative sales, or business development, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
- Experience in Search advertising and AI-driven performance products, such as Performance Max and AI Max.
- Strong presentation skills, particularly to executive client leadership teams.
Preferred qualifications include experience in negotiation and relationship building, as well as familiarity with Artificial Intelligence.
