Operations – Data Operations – 2027 Summer Internship Program Overview

The Summer Internship Programme at BlackRock is an immersive eight-week experience scheduled from June to August, aimed at providing students with a challenging and supportive environment that closely mirrors the role of a full-time Analyst. Interns will begin with an orientation that includes a detailed introduction to the firm and presentations from senior leaders.

Throughout the internship, participants will receive practical training and will be assigned daily tasks that contribute to their respective teams. The program also includes a speaker series, mentoring opportunities, and various networking events, including interactions with employee networks.

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be in their penultimate year of study and expected to graduate in 2028, regardless of their degree subject. It is important to note that fluency in the local language is required for positions in Continental Europe, while only English proficiency is necessary for roles in Budapest or Private Markets Investing in Zurich.

Applicants are allowed to submit one application for the Summer Internship Programme and can select up to two functions within that application. If an application is withdrawn, it cannot be resubmitted for the current year.

Once applications are submitted, candidates will receive an email to complete a pre-interview assessment, which must be submitted within five days to avoid automatic withdrawal of the application.

• Edinburgh, Milan, Amsterdam – 30 October 2026
• Budapest, Belgrade, Frankfurt, Munich, Copenhagen – 13 November 2026
• Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Riyadh – 31 January 2027
