We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a prestigious technology client in London for a contract role. This position involves working on an exciting customer assignment within an internal infrastructure operations function.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the support and escalation point for a complex, multi-site campus network estate.
- Ensure operational reliability and availability of core infrastructure.
Requirements
- Significant experience in campus networking, including structured cabling, switches, and MDF/IDF management.
- Proven ability to provide expert-level network support, ideally serving as an escalation point.
- Experience in supporting and maintaining distributed and multi-site network environments, preferably on a global scale.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management, both technical and non-technical.
- Familiarity with Arista, Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP), Opengear (or similar), and Fortinet is highly desirable.
