This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Mid QA Mobile Automation Engineer to join a partner company based in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust automated testing solutions for modern iOS and Android applications. You will work directly with Appium 2.0, C#/.NET 8, and established mobile automation frameworks. This position combines elements of test engineering, framework development, CI/CD integration, and quality assurance practices.

Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated mobile tests using Appium 2.0 with C# and .NET 8. You will build and maintain automation solutions for both iOS and Android applications, performing iOS automation using XCUITest Driver across simulators and physical devices, and implementing Android automation using UiAutomator2 Driver. Additionally, you will develop scalable test frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern and utilize accessibility IDs and other locator strategies to create reliable automated tests.

You will also create and manage NUnit test suites, integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with Git for code maintenance and review. Analyzing functional and technical requirements to translate them into effective automated testing strategies will be a key part of your role, along with applying QA methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.

To be considered for this role, you should have proven experience in mobile test automation, particularly with Appium 2.0, C#, and .NET 8. A strong knowledge of mobile automation frameworks for both iOS and Android, hands-on experience with XCUITest Driver and UiAutomator2 Driver, and practical experience in developing test frameworks using the Page Object Model are essential. You should also be proficient with NUnit, Appium Inspector, Git, and Azure DevOps.
