Join EY’s Isle of Ireland Valuations team as a Manager in Belfast, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality valuation services to a diverse range of clients, including private equity and venture capital-backed companies. This position is a key hire as the team expands its practice in Belfast, and you will be part of a talented and award-winning group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct valuations, modeling, and pricing for various clients.
  • Develop solutions for both external and internal clients utilizing robust quantitative models.
  • Gather and analyze financial market data and time series for informed decision-making.
  • Review and assess complex quantitative models created by clients or third parties.
  • Present findings to clients and prepare comprehensive reports that support recommendations.
  • Assist senior consulting staff with analytical tasks.
  • Coach and mentor junior executives within the team.
  • Manage assignments within budget constraints and tight deadlines, keeping the assignment manager informed of progress.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in valuations, preferably within a consultancy setting.
  • Understanding of the capital structures of private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) backed companies.
  • Strong modeling skills complemented by excellent numerical abilities.
  • Interpersonal skills that facilitate training and a client-focused approach.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a transaction-oriented environment, often under tight deadlines.
  • Leadership or management experience is preferred.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or an MBA/Master in Finance are advantageous.
