As a Management Consultant specializing in Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate the impacts of climate change on their operations and business functions.
Your Role
In this position, you will:
- Lead client engagements to implement sustainability strategies and frameworks, identifying broader opportunities for value generation.
- Assess clients’ exposure to climate-related risks and enhance their business continuity and operational resilience.
- Embed climate resilience into transformation programs, creating measurable outcomes through a ‘Resilient by Design’ approach.
- Act as a leader within the sustainability community, proactively introducing innovative ideas and approaches.
- Champion the value of sustainability across Capgemini, training teams and leaders on climate resilience and adaptation benefits.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals, bids, and client pitches.
- Engage in internal initiatives such as campaign development and practice development activities.
- Participate in learning and development opportunities to enhance your career and skills.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An educational background in Climate Science or related disciplines.
- Experience in sustainability, climate risk, resilience, ESG, or operational resilience consulting.
- An understanding of climate adaptation and physical climate risks.
- Familiarity with climate risk and resilience across sectors like Energy and Financial Services.
- Proven experience in managing complex consulting engagements and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to manage projects and understand the financial aspects of client delivery.
- Optional: A passion for sustainability and effective communication skills regarding its importance.
- Experience with climate risk modeling, resilience planning, or adaptation programs.
- Knowledge of business continuity, operational resilience, or disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with climate-related reporting frameworks such as TCFD and ISO 14091.
- Experience in sectors like government, financial services, utilities, or healthcare.
- An understanding of Sustainable IT and related principles.
