In the role of Immigration Strategy Lead, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing corporate immigration programs and compliance frameworks across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This position demands a unique combination of legal expertise, program management, and operational resilience to navigate a landscape characterized by rapid regulatory changes and geopolitical complexities.
Your responsibilities will include serving as the primary subject matter expert for EMEA immigration, resolving complex cases, and driving operational improvements. You will innovate regional immigration workflows by leveraging AI technologies and automation to enhance the employee experience. Additionally, you will partner with various stakeholders to secure top global talent by providing solutions to immigration challenges.
As the architect of the region’s immigration strategy, you will provide critical, data-driven counsel to executive leadership, enabling global mobility and supporting business growth. You will also ensure compliance and audit readiness by proactively monitoring legislation and orchestrating responses to mitigate risks during crises.
To qualify for this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with a minimum of 5 years in global immigration, mobility, or a related area. Experience in an immigration law firm and managing an in-house corporate immigration function is essential. Preferred qualifications include 8 years of experience, demonstrated leadership in incident responses, and extensive knowledge of EMEA immigration pathways and compliance.
Google offers a competitive salary, with a range of â¬142,000 – â¬146,000 (EUR), a 20% bonus target, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position allows for hybrid working, with the option to be based in London, UK or Dublin, Ireland.
