Join BAE Systems as a Graduate in Data Analytics and become part of a global team dedicated to pioneering advancements in technology-led defense, aerospace, and security solutions. This role is based at either our Frimley (Surrey) or Preston (Lancashire) locations, with a hybrid working model requiring attendance at the office 3-4 days a week.
The Data Centre of Expertise at BAE Systems is responsible for overseeing the effective use of data across the organization. As a graduate, you will engage in various initiatives, collaborating with colleagues to establish standardized approaches to data management and exploitation. You will also contribute to the development of best practices and data solutions tailored to specific challenges.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the definition and advocacy of a vision for increased data, analytics, and AI usage within the company.
- Lead coordination efforts to ensure data security, standardization, and fitness for purpose.
- Establish data capture and management frameworks to ensure data is ready for use when needed.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for analytics and AI to deliver value.
- Enhance employee knowledge and skills in data, analytics, and AI to build confidence in their use.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have obtained or be predicted to obtain a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in relevant fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Software & Systems Engineering, or Data Science.
