As a Gemini Adoption Sales Representative for Higher Education, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy aimed at enhancing the adoption of Gemini within the educational sector. You will manage a specific portfolio of universities and colleges, serving as their primary contact and trusted advisor. Your main goal will be to foster significant adoption of Gemini, demonstrating its transformative benefits for teaching, learning, and research.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Gemini in Higher Education within your designated market.
  • Owning key results for strategic adoption in your assigned accounts, focusing on programs that deliver measurable value, including training initiatives to support user adoption.
  • Identifying and engaging with key stakeholders at academic institutions in your territory.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to faculty and departments, helping them create and implement roadmaps for integrating AI into their educational practices.
  • Identifying sector stakeholders that can facilitate Gemini adoption, such as university associations and leadership groups.
  • Being a thought leader in the sector.
  • Synthesizing and communicating customer feedback to influence the future roadmap for Gemini in Education.
  • Collaborating with teams across Google to ensure a cohesive strategy that supports universities.

To qualify for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in education technology, enterprise software sales, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience in presenting to and building relationships with various stakeholders at academic institutions or enterprises.
  • Preferred experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies.
  • Experience in supporting technology adoption and change management initiatives.
  • Ability to create innovative thought leadership programs in the education sector.
  • A strong understanding of the Higher Education sector, including its challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A track record of successfully executing go-to-market strategies and meeting or exceeding targets.
