A fast-growing technology-driven organization is on the lookout for a Full Stack Java Developer to join their dynamic engineering team in Warrington, Cheshire. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to engage deeply in their work, take ownership of projects, and contribute significantly to the company’s platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications utilizing Java, React, and TypeScript.
- Create scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS technologies.
- Take ownership of features and components throughout the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address both technical and business challenges.
- Contribute innovative ideas, engage in code reviews, and support ongoing improvements in processes.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven commercial experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
- Strong skills in frontend development, particularly with React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS and experience in building cloud-native applications.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, Git version control, and best practices for clean code.
- A self-motivated attitude, demonstrating proactivity, curiosity, and a desire for personal growth.
Desirable Skills
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience in regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, or energy.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Interest in system design, architecture, or security.
