From day one, participants will have real responsibilities and will be supported in their technical and professional development.
The placement will take place at the Fawley Petrochemical Complex or the nearby Hythe Fuel Terminal. Ideal candidates will be curious, resilient, and proactive problem solvers who thrive in a manufacturing environment. The company values individuals who can adapt quickly, challenge norms constructively, simplify complex issues, and collaborate effectively with operations and engineering teams. While academic performance is important, it is not the only factor for success; candidates should also demonstrate ownership, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to achieve results through both personal and team efforts.
To qualify for this role, applicants must be pursuing a minimum of a 2:1 Bachelorâs degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and be seeking a 13-month Industrial Placement starting in July 2027.
