Engagement Manager, Mid-Market Overview

As an Engagement Manager for the Mid-Market segment at Profound, you will play a crucial role in driving the AI search program for your clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and ongoing engagement with the Profound platform. You will work closely with customer stakeholders to provide strategic consultation and support, helping them achieve their AI search objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of 45 to 55 mid-market clients.
• Manage the entire customer journey from onboarding and implementation to achieving measurable business outcomes using the Profound platform.
• Develop and implement a mix of personalized initiatives and scalable strategies to ensure high customer satisfaction and engagement.
• Gain expertise in the AI search domain and understand the functionality of large language models.
• Effectively manage multiple customer engagements to reduce risks associated with stakeholder changes.
• Collaborate closely with the Account Management team to ensure that value delivery aligns with the company’s commercial objectives.
• Work with internal teams including Sales, Product, and Engineering to enhance implementation processes and address technical issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer success, account management, or consulting roles focused on mid-market clients.
• Strong communication skills, capable of delivering effective presentations and demonstrations.
• Self-motivated individual with a passion for fostering strong customer relationships.
• Ability to tackle challenges and navigate through uncertain situations.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in working with quantitative data.
• Proven ability to manage processes from start to finish, demonstrating critical thinking and project management skills.
• Experience in the search or marketing industry is preferred.

Location and Compensation

This position is based onsite in one of our offices located in New York City, San Francisco, or London. The expected base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $180,000, not including variable compensation. Profound offers a competitive total compensation package that includes base salary, variable compensation, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will be determined based on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location during the interview process.
