The EMEA Nordics Scheduling Lead role at Google involves overseeing complex engineering projects across the Nordics region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a scheduling strategy that aligns with campus project schedules and CapEx funding timelines. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the scheduling strategy for Project Controls across the Nordics, ensuring alignment with campus project schedules and CapEx funding timelines.
• Localize Project Baseline Schedules to comply with gPOR designs, ensuring adherence to CPM and WBS specifications while maintaining alignment with integrated master schedules for internal reporting.
• Oversee schedules for active and pre-construction projects, identifying critical interdependencies and producing essential program artifacts such as charters, roadmaps, risk registers, and plans.
• Establish local Earned Value Management (EVM) practices with cost- and resource-loaded schedules, creating real-time performance reports and tracking OKRs while utilizing internal AI platforms for automation and efficiency.
• Act as the main point of contact for regional stakeholders regarding schedule controls, funding, and program health, employing tailored metrics, reports, and decision logs to ensure cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing technical programs and technology facility construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing the project lifecycle and synthesizing project data for executive reporting.
• Proficiency in process standardization and operational improvements throughout project execution.
• Familiarity with industry-standard construction scheduling tools.
