We are seeking a qualified Drainage Engineer to join a company in the United Kingdom that specializes in environmental services. This role will primarily cover the London area and offers the possibility of Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship for eligible applicants.
Responsibilities
- Perform drainage and pest control tasks, including light civil work, excavation, and drainage repairs.
- Install manholes and operate various tools and machinery to resolve blockages and drainage issues.
- Travel to different sites, both commercial and private, to carry out drainage-related duties.
- Drive light commercial vehicles as part of the job responsibilities.
- Participate in training for various operational procedures as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates with a background in construction or handyman work tend to excel in this position.
- A valid UK driving license or an international driving permit is required; assistance with conversion will be provided if necessary.
- Experience driving light commercial vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tonnes is essential.
- Candidates must demonstrate a hard-working attitude and be physically fit.
Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging from £15.47 to £18.61, depending on skills and experience.
