Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated community midwives to join our forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and possess excellent clinical skills, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and delivering high-quality care. You will be responsible for providing home births and supporting births within a birth center.
Main Duties
- Work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality maternity care.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with team members to ensure safe care for women.
- Educate women and their families throughout the pregnancy continuum.
- Plan and direct care activities to meet optimal standards.
- Make appropriate referrals to other agencies and specialist teams as required.

Salary and Benefits
This position offers a salary between £39,959 and £48,117 per annum, pro rata, along with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
Requirements
- Registered Midwife with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Clinical competence and ability to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to make clinical decisions and prioritize care needs.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Desirable: Current driving license and a first-level degree in a relevant field.
