Join ExxonMobil for a unique opportunity in our Commercial Industrial Placement within Global Trading in London. We are looking for innovative individuals who are eager to apply their analytical skills in a dynamic trading environment.

Role Overview

This placement is part of our 2027 Industrial Placement Programme, where you will work closely with experienced professionals in the trading sector. You will have the chance to engage with front-line traders or the Trading Analytics team, conducting market analysis and supporting trading decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders on an energy desk or within the Trading Analytics team to perform market analysis.
• Utilize both proprietary and third-party data to inform trading strategies.
• Support trading teams in areas such as risk management and crude oil optimization.
• Take on special projects that enhance business outcomes and your personal growth.
• Participate in a comprehensive induction program to build foundational trading skills during your first month.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be in the penultimate year of your degree program.
• Expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification in any subject.
• Aiming for a 13-month paid Industrial Placement starting in July 2027.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Interest in physical commodities and financial markets is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in an international team.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities are a plus.
