The Bright Sparks Work Experience Programme 2027 at Burges Salmon offers an exciting opportunity for students in S4 to S6 to gain insight into the workings of a law firm. This week-long program is designed for those curious about legal careers and aims to provide valuable experience while developing key workplace skills.

During the week from 7 to 11 June 2027, participants will engage in various activities that foster personal growth and professional development. Students will have the chance to:

• Build confidence and enhance skills such as CV writing, interview preparation, communication, and teamwork.
• Understand how legal and business professionals assist clients in overcoming significant challenges and making a positive impact.
• Participate in interactive workshops that encourage contributions from all attendees, ensuring that every voice is heard.
• Collaborate with peers on team challenges, learning the value of teamwork in achieving great results.

Throughout the program, students will explore different career paths within the firm, including roles in legal teams, finance, marketing, IT, corporate responsibility, and client support and operations. Whether you are already interested in pursuing a career in law or are simply exploring your options, this program is designed to provide you with valuable insights and skills for your future.
