We are seeking an Azure Cloud Consultant specializing in security to join our team in London. This contract position, lasting six months, involves a hybrid working pattern where you will work three days a week in the office and two days remotely. In this hands-on advisory role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure that cloud security best practices are integrated as platforms evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate current Azure environments to determine necessary cloud security controls.
- Design, implement, and validate security measures across cloud platforms.
- Test and ensure the effectiveness of security controls in alignment with best practices and compliance standards.
- Provide practical advice on cloud security frameworks, tools, and strategies for ongoing improvement.
- Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to integrate security into cloud adoption processes.
- Assist in addressing new security challenges related to AI agents and AI-enabled workloads.
Required Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Experience with Prisma Cloud (Palo Alto) is preferred.
- Strong background in cloud security architecture, security controls, and validation processes.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, project-driven cloud migration settings.
- Desirable experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Interest or experience in AI security and AI-enabled services is a plus.
- Consulting or advisory experience working alongside engineering and delivery teams is beneficial.
