Join the audit team at RSM for a 12-month paid placement starting on 14 September 2027, as part of your sandwich degree. This opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience while working alongside both current trainees and seasoned audit professionals.

As a member of the audit team, you will engage in meaningful client work from the outset, conducting detailed, risk-focused reviews of financial records, processes, and controls. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and fostering trust among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Become an integral part of the audit team, quickly getting involved in client work.
• Conduct thorough reviews of clients’ financial records and processes.
• Collaborate with a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, and pension schemes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent), or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Must be enrolled in a placement degree program.
• Permanent right to live and work in the UK is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for relationship building and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Genuine interest in business and commerce with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as needed.
