Associate Director, Connectivity Overview

Tripadvisor is seeking an Associate Director of Connectivity to lead the technical and commercial relationships with reservation systems utilized by our supplier partners. This hybrid role, based in London, requires in-office attendance 1-2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the Connectivity strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall technical direction of the company.
• Establish and nurture relationships with C-suite executives at Restech and Supplier partners, representing Tripadvisor in high-level discussions.
• Engage directly with API design, integration architecture, and connectivity challenges, demonstrating hands-on leadership.
• Lead and mentor a team of technical leads and engineers, fostering their growth and development.
• Collaborate with Product teams to influence the connectivity roadmap and ensure it meets business needs.
• Introduce innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance team performance and creativity.
• Manage the escalation and resolution of complex operational and connectivity issues to maintain seamless transactions.
• Supervise the configuration, monitoring, and testing of supplier integrations, driving continuous improvement in processes.

About You

• Extensive hands-on experience with APIs and Restech integration technologies, with a comprehensive understanding of connectivity platforms.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining senior-level relationships with Restech and Supplier partners.
• Experience in developing and executing a technical or connectivity strategy, with a hands-on approach to implementation.
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly in working alongside Product teams on customer-facing applications.
• An inclusive leadership style that promotes a non-hierarchical environment.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings and adapt to changing priorities and team structures.
• Excellent communication and management skills, coupled with technical credibility.
