AI Engineering Consultant / Senior Consultant Overview

At Capgemini Invent, we are on the lookout for an AI Engineering Consultant or Senior Consultant who will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems at an enterprise scale. This position focuses on bridging the gap between AI prototypes and the integration of data and AI solutions into business processes, ensuring that these solutions are scaled responsibly and effectively.

Your Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing and implementing a robust MLOps framework, governance, and best practices in line with industry standards.
• Designing and delivering end-to-end AI/ML systems, from data preparation and model development to deployment, feature stores, and model management.
• Delivering solutions utilizing the latest Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks, such as ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Llamaindex.
• Translating AI use case requirements into data and AI architectures using the most suitable cloud services from major providers.
• Architecting and implementing Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines and orchestration of large language models across Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Embedding safety, evaluation, and assurance mechanisms throughout the AI lifecycle to ensure ethical, explainable, and responsible solutions.
• Translating business and functional requirements into technical blueprints and guiding multi-disciplinary teams in their execution.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions drive business value and impact.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience working in a major consulting firm or industry, with a consulting mindset and the ability to gain support in a matrixed organization.
• Experience working with client sponsors, both technical and non-technical, to collaboratively design requirements and build solutions.
• A proven track record in designing and implementing MLOps strategies and frameworks, as well as delivering AI/ML solutions at scale.
• A deep understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing cloud-native data and AI architectures across Azure, GCP, AWS, and/or Databricks.
• The ability to demonstrate how scaling AI can unlock business value and impact.

Technical Expertise

We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in the following technologies:

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Experience building and automating AI/ML pipelines using tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, Vertex Pipelines, Airflow, or Google ADK.
• Hands-on experience with Generative and Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Autogen, or Google ADK.
• Ability to design and implement RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and integration with LLM APIs.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and containerization tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to Haves

Familiarity with evaluating AI system performance, modern data patterns, and integration patterns is a plus.
