2027 Technology Graduate Programme Overview

Join the Technology team within Macquarie’s Corporate Operations Group (COG) as part of the 2027 Technology Graduate Programme. This program is designed for graduates who are eager to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of systems, platforms, and tools that support Macquarie’s global operations.

As a graduate, you will collaborate with a supportive team to tackle complex problems and deliver practical technology solutions. Your role may involve:

• Designing and enhancing technology platforms that support trading, risk management, and business operations.
• Working on digital platforms, trading systems, business applications, or data tools.
• Learning agile delivery, software development, DevOps, cloud technologies, automation, and solution design.
• Utilizing data, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to address business challenges and improve processes.
• Partnering with technology and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and enhance user experiences.

This twelve-month program encourages you to examine problems from various perspectives, challenge existing norms, and propose innovative solutions while being part of an inclusive team.

As a graduate, you will:

• Participate in an orientation to learn about Macquarie’s business groups and expand your professional network.
• Receive formal training, including financial modeling and presentation skills, while gaining practical on-the-job experience.
• Have the opportunity to develop and test your ideas to create new possibilities.
• Build strong connections and collaborate directly with business leaders on meaningful projects.
• Receive support from your manager and a mentor for valuable insights into the industry.
• Contribute to community initiatives through the Macquarie Group Foundation, which supports numerous organizations through financial aid, volunteering, and skills sharing.

We welcome applications from students of all degree backgrounds who are graduating between January and July 2027. Ideal candidates will have a background in Computer Science, STEM, Physics, Management Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. You should possess strong analytical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach to challenges.
