The 2027 Summer Internship Program at BlackRock is an immersive eight-week experience designed for students to gain insights into the financial industry while contributing to meaningful projects. The internship runs from June to August and aims to replicate the responsibilities of a full-time analyst.

Interns will begin with an orientation that includes a thorough introduction to the firm and presentations from senior leaders. Following this, participants will receive practical training and will be assigned daily tasks that contribute to their respective teams. The program also features a speaker series, mentoring opportunities, and various networking events with employee networks.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be in their penultimate year of studies and expected to graduate in 2028 from either an undergraduate or master’s degree program. Applications are welcome from students across all degree disciplines. It is important to note that fluency in the local language is required for positions in Continental Europe, while only English is necessary for roles in Budapest or within Private Markets Investing in Zurich.

Applicants are limited to submitting one application for the internship program and can select up to two functions within that program. If a candidate withdraws their application, they will not be able to reapply for the same program in the current year.

Upon submitting an application, candidates will receive an email prompting them to complete a pre-interview assessment, which must be submitted within five days. Failure to do so will result in automatic withdrawal of the application.
