The 2027 Summer Analyst position in Global Markets – Equity Research at the Royal Bank of Canada offers a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in the finance sector. This internship is designed for individuals in their penultimate or final year of university, providing them with the chance to develop their skills and understanding of the financial markets.

As a Summer Intern, you will be integrated into a key area of the Equity Research function, where you will engage in various projects that include:

• Conducting industry research to identify new initiatives and investment opportunities.
• Assisting management in developing pitch ideas that highlight market trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Helping to construct financial models that support research findings.
• Contributing to writing research reports that cover various aspects from initial coverage to results and recommendations.
• Supporting the operational functions that maintain the firm’s industry-leading performance.

Throughout the internship, you will receive extensive support and development opportunities, including:
