    RMAN-08129: failover to piece handle=string tag=string

    Reason for the Error

    This is an informational message to indicate the server found a corrupted block in a piece and had to switch to another copy of piece to get corresponding un-corrupted block.

    Solution

    See alert log for information on corruption block(s) and the name of the piece that has the corrupted block(s).
