Oracle Error Message
ORA-45902: cannot rename data file ‘string’ – file was instantly restored.
Reason for the Error
During ALTER DATABASE RENAME or RMAN command SWITCH, the rename was specified for an instantly restored file.
Solution
Rename the file that was not instantly restored or wait until the repopulation work is complete and the retry the command.
