Reason for the Error

DBMS_METADATA_DIFF was comparing two locally partitioned indexes with different partitions or subpartitions. There is no SQL ALTER statement to add or drop a partition or subpartition of a locally partitioned index.

Solution

The difference cannot be eliminated with an SQL ALTER statement.
