Reason for the Error

DBMS_METADATA_DIFF was comparing two nested table columns. One was a heap table, the other an index-organized table. There is no SQL ALTER statement to change the organization of a nested table.

Solution

The difference cannot be eliminated with an SQL ALTER statement.
