    ORA-38747: corrupt before image (file# string, block# string)

    Reason for the Error

    A corrupt data block before image was encountered during a FLASHBACK DATABASE command.

    Solution

    The flashback log data is probably corrupt. If so, a restore and an incomplete recovery must be performed instead.
