Oracle Error Message
ORA-19776: PROXY restore to ASM disk group “string” is not supported.
Reason for the Error
An attempt was made to proxy restore a file to ASM disk group using RMAN command. This is not supported.
Solution
Use a different file name and reissue RMAN command.
