ORA-16186: Modifying LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG requires SID=’*’ qualifier
Reason for the Error
The setting for the LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG parameter must be exactly the same on all RAC instances so the SID=’*’ qualifier is required.
Solution
Re-enter the command using the SID=’*’ qualifier.
