Oracle Error Message
ORA-15412: Operation on disk group string is incompatible under appliance mode.
Reason for the Error
An attempt was made to do an operation that resulted in dropping all disks in a failure group or creating a new failure group.
Solution
Disable appliance mode, perform the operation and reenable appliance mode. WARNING: To reenable appliance mode, ensure the following constraints are met:
* There are a sufficient number of disks in each failure group.
* All failure groups have an equal number of disks.
* There are no offline disks in the disk group.
* Every disk in the disk group is of the same type (flash or hard disk).
* All disks in the disk group have an equal size.
