    ORA-15405: Slot string in Oracle ASM appliance ‘string’ contains more than one disk

    Reason for the Error

    An attempt was made to add a disk to a slot in the ASM appliance that already had a disk (possibly OFFLINE) associated with it.

    Solution

    Use FORCE to drop the disk that exists in the specified slot. Then, retry the operation.
