    ORA-15134: mirror resilvering not supported for string

    Reason for the Error

    The specified device requires oracle to take mirror resilvering responsiblity. ASM does not resilver logical volume manager (lvm) based mirrors.

    Solution

    Disable lvm-based mirroring or set the parameter _asm_allow_lvm_resilvering to TRUE. One might experience performance degradation when lvm-based resilvering is enabled with ASM.
