    ORA-15128: ASM file name ‘string’ exceeds maximum length string

    Reason for the Error

    The maximum ASM file name length of 256 characters was exceeded for the combination of diskgroup name, file number, template name, alias name plus punctuation within the ASM file name.

    Solution

    Correct the file name specification.
