    ORA-15087: disk ‘string’ is formatted as an ext2/ext3 or OCFS2 file system.

    Reason for the Error

    A signature was found on the specified disk indicating that it is in use by an existing ext2/ext3 or OCFS2 file system.

    Solution

    Adjust discovery string and device permissions to exclude previously formatted disks from discovery.
