ORA-00063: LOG_FILES initialization parameter exceeded
Reason for the Error
The LOG FILES parameter must be set to the maximum number of logs that exist.
Solution
Increase the value of the LOG FILES parameter in the initialization file before performing an Oracle warm start. The value should be as large as the highest number of logs that currently exist, not just the count of logs that exist. If increasing this parameter would exceed the MAXLOGFILES limit set when the database was created, you must first create a new control file.
