ORA-00059: maximum number of DB_FILES exceeded
Reason for the Error
The requested resource wasn’t accessible.
The DB FILES parameter in the initialization parameter file specifies the maximum number of datafiles.
No more requests are handled after this cap is reached.
Solution
When the resource is free, try again.
If this message appears frequently, Oracle must be shut down and restarted after increasing the DB FILES parameter in the initialization parameter file.
If the DB FILES parameter cannot be changed because it is already set to the MAXDATAFILES parameter value, which was set when the database was created, you must create a new control file.
