Welder Overview

We are seeking three experienced TIG Welders to join a reputable engineering and manufacturing company located in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. This recruitment drive is due to a sustained increase in demand and a growing workload, necessitating the addition of skilled welders to the team as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on high-quality engineered and fabricated components.
• Work with stainless and carbon steels.
• Accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Produce consistently high-quality welds.
• Handle technically demanding components and assemblies.
• Participate in a rotating shift pattern of two weeks on days followed by two weeks on nights.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder, capable of starting immediately.
• Strong background in fabrication and engineering.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a rotating day/night shift pattern.
