This practice is part of a network of five local Medivet practices, each supported by an experienced Lead Vet, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of working in a close-knit environment while having access to a broader network of clinical expertise and collaboration.
As a Veterinary Surgeon at Medivet, you will have the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills and make a significant impact within the community. The collaborative nature of our five-practice group fosters an environment where knowledge can be shared, cases can be discussed, and the strengths of colleagues can be leveraged. You will also have access to the facilities and clinical expertise at our nearby 24-hour hospital in Wokingham, which allows for the referral of complex cases and access to advanced diagnostics and specialist teams.
In this role, you will typically be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and surgeries, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
- Creating tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients.
- Collaborating with a supportive team to enhance patient care.
- Sharing your expertise to contribute to the development of Medivet communities.
To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified MRCVS with a passion for clinical excellence and client care. You should also be a team player who is eager to make a meaningful difference in a supportive practice environment.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- Private Medical Insurance and Health Cash Plan from day one.
- 24/7 counselling and wellbeing support.
- Life Assurance at three times your salary.
- Five weeks of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service length.
- An additional paid day off for personal wellbeing.
- A £1,500 CPD allowance with three days of paid leave for professional development.
- Funding for certificates and internal career pathways.
- Payment of RCVS, VDS, and BVA fees.
- Relocation support and visa sponsorship options available.
- Sabbatical options based on length of service.
- Cycle to Work scheme and season ticket loans.
- Discounts on Medivet products and services.
