Role Overview

As part of the Electronic Systems team, you will engage in various responsibilities that include making recommendations on electronic product content for avionics systems, optimizing hardware and software designs, and developing sophisticated design processes. You will gain valuable exposure to the entire project lifecycle, playing a crucial role in maintaining existing systems and innovating new technologies.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to provide recommendations on electronic product content for avionics systems.
• Optimize hardware and software design concepts.
• Develop and refine sophisticated design processes while testing complex products.
• Gain exposure to the entire project lifecycle, contributing to both the maintenance of existing systems and the development of new technologies.
• Utilize laboratory equipment and demonstrate a basic understanding of the engineering lifecycle.
• Proactively ask questions and propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Conduct laboratory tests and accurately capture data.
• Assess equipment behavior and diagnose faults.
• Evaluate new technologies and components.
• Engage in circuit and firmware design, simulation, and modeling.
• Perform data analysis and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must be on track to achieve at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field such as Electrical, Computing, Physics, or Communication. A basic knowledge of hardware design tools and familiarity with laboratory testing techniques are essential.
