We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team at Fiveways School in Yeovil. This full-time position is set to commence in January 2027, and we welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as those with experience in special education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and severe learning disabilities (SLD). You will work collaboratively with a committed teaching team to ensure the best educational outcomes for all pupils, contributing to a strong safeguarding culture where every student is respected and involved in decision-making.
We pride ourselves on the impact our teams have made in providing exceptional education and support to our pupils. Therefore, a real commitment to special needs education and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders is essential. Experience in PMLD/SLD settings is desirable, and all applicants must be willing to undergo Child Protection screening, including checks with current and past employers and an enhanced DBS clearance.
