Responsibilities
- Act as a change agent by applying technical expertise to transform Goldman Sachs.
- Collaborate with embedded engineering teams and business partners across various sectors including trading, sales, asset management, and finance to develop and automate innovative solutions.
- Join core engineering teams to enhance business operations by providing reliable and scalable platforms for data engineering, machine learning, and developer tooling.
- Work in a collaborative, agile environment with UI/UX designers, data scientists, and cloud engineers to tackle new challenges and learn continuously.
- Develop backend solutions primarily focused on micro-service development using Java and Spring, while interacting with MongoDB.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have at least 3 years of experience working with Java, Spring, and NoSQL technologies like MongoDB.
- Demonstrate experience with micro-services, Java deployments, and DevOps tools such as GitLab.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
- Show strong attention to detail while driving towards goals and milestones.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse teams.
- Display strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and sound judgment.
- Be a strong team player with experience collaborating with global teams.
- Be self-motivated with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
