Senior Operations Associate Overview

In the role of Senior Operations Associate, you will join the EMEA Cloud Strategy and Operations (S&O) team, acting as a key partner to the EMEA Customer Engineering (CE) leadership. Your responsibilities will include leading the planning, design, and execution of complex, cross-regional programs that support key initiatives and enhance operational excellence within the EMEA CE organization.

Your role will involve managing S&O functions across the region, ensuring coordinated action on high-priority issues, and running programs that improve the effectiveness of the CE leadership team. You will also support the annual planning process, aligning regional goals and resources strategically for the upcoming year, and assist in the executive customer engagement strategy on behalf of the EMEA CE Leader.

As a proactive thinker, you will tackle complex operational challenges, utilize data to derive insights, and maintain the operational rhythm necessary for a rapidly growing global organization. You will navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency while establishing best practices across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Lead key CE initiatives (e.g., talent development, organization strategy, tool improvement) across EMEA.
• Serve as the orchestrator for the EMEA CE Leader’s executive engagements, managing a portfolio of customer and partner interactions, content preparation, and follow-up.
• Act as a key operational partner to the EMEA CE leadership team and work seamlessly within the broader EMEA CE S&O team.
• Support the core Strategy and Operations function across the EMEA region.
• Manage key elements of the EMEA CE operational cadence.
• Identify opportunities for scale and implement cross-functional programs to improve operational efficiency and establish best practices across the wider EMEA region.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in strategy and operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar operational role.
• Experience in a direct customer-facing strategy role and coordinating executive-level relationships is preferred.
• A background in Customer Engineering, technical pre-sales, or a similar technical customer-facing role is highly beneficial, along with a solid understanding of enterprise technology and cloud architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage and deliver successful operational projects in a complex, cross-functional, and global environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights (proficiency in SQL, Looker, and Sheets).

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of €148,000 – €152,000 (EUR) plus a target bonus of 20% and equity options.
