We are currently seeking a Senior Manager for Strategic Sales South to lead our Strategic Account Executive teams focused on Southern Europe within the EMEA region. This role reports to the EMEA Regional Vice President for South and DACH. The ideal candidate will be an experienced relationship builder with a proven track record in developing high-performing teams of solution-selling Account Executives, dedicated to expanding existing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of account executives focused on maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Develop and implement a strategic approach for existing client expansion, promoting solutions across Twilio’s entire product portfolio.
- Coach and enable team members on engaging with customers at various maturity levels and segments.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including Professional Services, Marketing, Technical Specialists, and Product & Partner teams, to ensure customer success with new use cases.
- Provide accurate forecasts regarding team performance and effectively communicate insights to management.
- Cultivate a team culture that emphasizes growth, curiosity, learning, and collaboration in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a high-performing CPaaS, Communications, or API-based organization.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in consumption-based revenue models.
- Proven ability to build teams, manage monthly forecasting, and oversee territory planning and revenue tracking for strategic accounts.
- Experience managing remote teams across multiple countries.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding revenue targets and business KPIs.
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently to achieve results.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and collaborating cross-functionally in a rapidly growing business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Energetic and enthusiastic, with a willingness to travel as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in an additional language such as French, Spanish, or Hebrew.
- Ability to influence and establish effective working relationships across all organizational levels.
Location and Travel
This position is remote and can be based in the United Kingdom, Spain, or Ireland. Approximately 25% travel is expected to foster meaningful in-person connections across the region.
