An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior iOS Engineer to join a rapidly expanding tech company that operates in the medical and tech-for-good sectors. This role involves significant responsibility in the development of iOS systems that are crucial for users relying on technology for safe navigation in the real world.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the development of iOS systems for a fast-growing tech company focused on medical technology.
• Architect and maintain a high-performance native iOS application utilizing Swift, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency patterns.
• Develop seamless hardware integrations using Bluetooth technology.
• Optimize sensor-fusion algorithms and solvers for real-time execution on mobile hardware.
• Manage memory allocation, threading, and ARM CPU constraints to ensure low-latency performance.
• Integrate low-level C++ or Rust codebases with the iOS frontend.

Requirements

• Proven experience in native iOS engineering, particularly with Swift.
• Strong knowledge of Core Bluetooth, BLE, and background data processing.
• Demonstrated expertise in power profiling and power management.
• Solid understanding of iOS SDKs, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Experience working with high-frequency time-series data and managing fleets of edge devices in IoT or Robotics.
• Ability to design and maintain resilient, low-latency systems where uptime is critical.
• Familiarity with C++ and/or Rust is essential.
• Experience with Firebase, GPS, GNSS, IoT, and connected devices is highly desirable.
